Well, I have not posted at all this week. I can honestly say that I sit here in Cape Cod in awe of how awesome the kids of FUMCPSJ are. Just reading the blogs and looking at the pictures, I realize this youth group made God very happy this week. I love each and everyone of you, as if you were all my own. Just remember to keep the feeling you have now for the rest of your life. That is the feeling that God wants us to hang onto like little kids hanging onto a toy. Billy, you have no idea how proud of you I am. Even though this will probably be your last mission trip with this group, you have memories that will last forever. Hang onto those memories and never forget you are a gift from God and to God. Lou Lou, I could not have asked for a better daughter. You have made your Papa Bear so proud. Watching you grow into a beautiful, young, Godly woman, makes me proud to say I am your dad.

I can honestly say that I looked at the pictures with tears in my eyes tonight. There was obviously strong emotions going on at devotion tonight. To watch young people behaving so mature, well, except for the mud fight, makes me realize that the future of our country is in good hands. To the adult leaders that had the privilege of watching these amazing kids, THANK YOU and I love each and every one of you. It is an amazing feeling to have the trust and love to be able to send my kids so far away with people that I know will take care of my kids as if they were their own. God loves you and so do I.

It has been amazing to live this week with you, through the blog. I am so proud that our children have chosen, for two years in a row, to go to this magical place. His Mansion has meant so much to both of our children and part of me is sad that, likely, this is Billy's last mission trip. I have had many tears in my eyes as I read tonight's blog. Without being there, I know that our children have been doing His work all week. I have enjoyed all of the pictures to really live this mission trip with them. I appreciate our youth leaders so much for making this experience happen, two years in a row. Although we have great kiddos, there is no way that this could have been accomplished without all of you! I know that there will be many great memories that the kids will share in the coming weeks and I look forward to that. I know that all of the people on "The Hill" have been blessed by you, but I know that you have been just as blessed. Sleep well...and tomorrow, travel safe. I look forward to seeing my kiddos in the early afternoon. God loves you all so much and so do we!
