In just three days…

I am so looking forward to this trip, as I pray all of you are as well! We talked a lot about the length of the shorts we were okay with, but taking a look at the weather, I see that we are going to need to plan on a little cooler weather than last year! Today and tomorrow are in the upper 80s at His Mansion, but a front is going through on Friday and by the time we arrive on Saturday, the high is expected to be about 67! :0) It’s going to be great, but we are definitely going to want to have a jacket (and probably some long pants!) I would still encourage you to bring some shorts, but know that it isn’t going to be as warm as we once thought!
We are also going to be experiencing some rain showers so I would encourage you to have a rain jacket or poncho with you that you would feel comfortable working in! Won’t be a rain out, but some for sure.
If you wish to check the weather for yourself, which I encourage, look for Deering, NH or Hillsborough, NH. Manchester is the city we are flying into, but we are going a little higher.
Okay, time to get serious about packing. Remember… one bag! Let me know if you have any questions.

Just a week away…

Hard to believe, but in just over a week, we will be on our way to His Mansion! So much fun to look forward to, but so much to do before then!

This Sunday, the church will be “commissioning” all of us who are going on the trip. For those that are new to this, this is to bless our group and dedicate our service to His glory. While this is available at both services, we would really like everyone to get commissioned together. If at all possible, please plan on attending the early service so all may be prayed over then.

This is a wonderfully exciting time and opportunity that God has called us to and I cannot wait to spend it with each of you.

By the way – For those that missed or just wanted the presentation that was presented at the Parents Meeting on May 22, 2011, it can be found here:

Congratulations Graduates

Billy, Morgan, Alex and Kaitlyn at the luncheon

(Not in attendance were Robyn and Austin)

We had a fantastic celebration honoring our high school and college graduates at our pot luck luncheon on May 15, 2011.  There was music, a slide show presentation with some entertaining pictures and lots of tasty food.  Mr. Ron had a lot of fun ‘roasting’ our male graduates.

Thank you to everyone who brought a covered dish and also to those that helped set up and clean up.

We wish all of our graduates much success in what they choose to do in the future.

Congratulations Seniors!

We have been busy this weekend taking in graduation ceremonies for our youth.  We started thinking –

Graduation is a special time in your life.  It is a time when you move from one place to the next.  You may not realize how important this moment is right now, but years from now you will look back on the memories, your friends, and your youth group realizing how much it really meant in the developing of who you are.

Take time to relish the moment that God has prepared you for.  Take time to thank your Mom and Dad for all the support to get you to this point.  Take time to thank God for what he has done for you and for continuing to stick by your side.

As we, your Youth Leaders, looked over the graduating seniors this year it made us feel a little bit older, a little bit wiser, and most importantly very proud.  We have watched you all grow up and become young adults. We have been through some fun times on mission trips, youth meetings, church activities and several of your school events.  You are a great group!  We would like to recognize our graduating seniors, the Class of 2011:

B. Mosebach – Edgewood Jr/Sr. High

A. Terzieff – Space Coast Jr./Sr. High

M. Bordeaux – Space Coast Jr./Sr. High

K. Freitas – Space Coast Jr./Sr. High

A. Seabury – Space Coast Jr./Sr. High

God has special plans for each of you and we are so proud of you!  Your accomplishments have been outstanding in the support of your church, your community, your school, your youth group and especially your families.

Congratulations Class of 2011 Seniors!  God Bless you and continue to keep you in His grip.

Mic, Linda, Jobie, Mark, Tiffany and Ron
